Our Impact
Get Outside WNC not only promotes conservation and protection of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but also emphasizes the positive effects of nature on our mental health. Hiking serves as a healthy way to destress, get exercise, and recover from the demands of work, school, and our day-to-day routines. Get Outside WNC hopes to get youth back outside and promote positive health habits. Join us this summer for hikes in Pisgah National Forest, Gorges State Park, and Roan Mountain State Park.
